Hello my friends, and welcome to my blog. Today marks 20 days left before the year 2020. How exciting?! I will post something each day for the next 20 days.
Around this time of year, many of us get caught up in buying gifts, working overtime to afford gifts, cooking or baking, traveling, picking out appropriate attire (ugly sweater, maybe) to wear to a holiday social of some sort, or worrying about a New Year's Resolution (NYR). You know, "New Year, New Me" type thing. 🤷♀️
Those of you who have stayed the course and crushed your NYR goals, KUDOS!👏👏
I am genuinely happy that you followed through.
But this post is for my friends who fell off the wagon and forgot about what they promised themselves, their families, or even the world (social media posts).
Do we need to wait to be great? Why can't we be great at this very moment? (This is where I insert a shameless plug 😁) Do you need someone to help you be accountable? Maybe you need someone who is going to help you track your goals or even rediscover your goals and ultimately rediscover who got lost in the shuffle throughout life, not just this year. I can assist you, and effectively, may I add!
If the start of a new year is symbolic or significant to you, then by all means, wait. I just know that tomorrow isn't always what we think it will be and that leads us to push it to tomorrow again. The cycle continues and we get lost in that cycle.
There's no day like today to start NOW.
How do you feel about New Year's Resolutions? Let me know your thoughts. Let's connect!
